Hi, I’m

Zak Hardy

and I’m a..

I’m a Manchester-based multi-disciplinary creative. My work focuses on telling stories within the intersection of politics, music, and fashion.

As the founder and digital editor of Dance Policy, I’ve been publishing stories on global youth and dance culture for the last six years. I’m passionate about compelling storytelling that goes deeper and more niche than other publications, such as the relationship between Nike and Grime, Colonel Gaddafi’s disco record label, or the Budot subculture of the Philippines. I’ve produced, eight issues, hundreds of articles and 700+ social media posts, my work has since grown into a community of twenty thousand followers.

I adapt my work to best fit the story, which means my skill set covers writing, editing, A&R, video production, graphic design, and photography. Browse my portfolio of work or get in touch to discuss my services.
